Machinist Achieves Impressive Results with Ultrasonic Cleaning

Look at all of that grime!

Our glass beakers have done an excellent job in aiding the cleaning of these Schaublin collets during just a four minute cycle.

OME Machining used the beaker rack in his 6 litre ultrasonic cleaner to clean these smaller parts.  We sent the machinist an ultrasonic cleaning kit to put to the test in his workshop and he wasted no time sharing the gleaming results on Instagram.  In a series of posts, he showed his 78.9K followers the simple ultrasonic cleaning process and the consistently impressive results achieved when restoring various machine parts to look brand new.

Why Should I Use Beakers in My Ultrasonic Cleaner?

Beakers are great for cleaning smaller items in ultrasonic cleaners.  They keep small parts together and away from the bottom of the tank, preventing damage to both them and the transducers located in the bottom of the cleaner.  They also reduce the amount of cleaning fluid needed, saving you money - just fill the beaker with the ultrasonic fluid you need, and fill the rest of the bath with tap water.  You can run the cleaner with two types of cleaning solution simultaneously, reducing running time.  And all that grime and dirt?  It all stays in the beaker, no scrubbing out the bath!

Our beakers are high-quality, borosilicate glass and are safe to heat.
