We carried out a test clean using our Flux Remover and Rapidex ultrasonic cleaning solutions on a large aluminium mesh filter heavily contaminated with flux residue.
The customer, a manufacturer of printed circuit boards for the lighting industry, experiences significant flux build-up on their filters during the reflow soldering process. This sticky residue can be difficult and time-consuming to remove using manual methods.
By switching to ultrasonic cleaning, the customer was able to dramatically reduce the effort required to clean the filter, with outstanding results.
