Always on the lookout for new, more efficient and effective methods of ultrasonic cleaning, Allendale Ultrasonics’ engineers and chemists came together to create a new range of products which we believe is a game changer for the market.
Ultrasonic cleaning fluids
Having sold a range of ultrasonic cleaning fluids for many years we knew that there must be a more efficient, eco-friendly way of supplying cleaning solutions. Naturally, when it comes to shipping liquids there are obstacles, whether it’s potential damage in transit, shipping restrictions imposed on hazardous materials, or simply high shipping and storage costs due to size and weight. We wanted a product which was safe and easy to ship to our customers around the globe, whilst still guaranteeing the high-quality results our customers expect.
So, after months of research and development, we start the new year with the launch of
The University of Wolverhampton Racing Team (UWR) has completed the final weekend of races for the Praga Cup 2022 with high spirits despite a series of knockbacks.
After a gearbox failure on the Saturday, the student motorsport team entered the track at the season finale with confidence and a car that was ready for the day of races ahead. They persevered through mechanical issues, unpredictable weather and a last-minute overtake, with driver Shane Kelly ultimately walking away as the driver of the day.
With a video that reached 400K views in five days, YouTube Channel Sous Vide Everything recorded a new experiment - Tenderising a steak with an Ultrasonic Cleaner.
So, where does ultrasonic technology come in to the process of cooking a steak, and why have the "perfectly cooked" protein-obsessed owners of this channel and their viewers been eating it right up?
Presenter Henry Cole and motorcycle builder Allen Millyard used our ultrasonic cleaning solution to bring a clogged and rusty carburettor back to life in an episode of ITV’s Junk and Disorderly.
The pair can be seen in Series 2, Episode 5 of the automotive junk and classics restoring show, submerging the part in an ultrasonic tank which contains our concentrated Carburettor, Machine and Engine Parts cleaning solution.
In the 60-minute episode, the pair turn their attention to the restoration of a legendary Triumph Trident bike and end the show with a celebratory
Our glass beakers have done an excellent job in aiding the cleaning of these Schaublin collets during just a four minute cycle.
OME Machining used the beaker rack in his 6 litre ultrasonic cleaner to clean these smaller parts. We sent the machinist an ultrasonic cleaning kit to put to the test in his workshop and he wasted no time sharing the gleaming results on Instagram. In a series of posts, he showed his 78.9K followers the simple ultrasonic cleaning process and the consistently impressive results achieved when restoring various machine parts to look brand new.
Why Should I Use Beakers in My Ultrasonic Cleaner?
In honour of the International Day of Charity, our team at The Allendale Group have participated in guessing games to raise donations for the Down’s Syndrome Association.
We arranged various fun challenges to get everyone in the office involved for this excellent cause. Our challenges involved guessing how long a piece of string was, how many Portavolt Variable Transformers there were in a picture, and how many wrapped sweets there were in our C106 case.
Our Managing Director Alan Ward showed our support as sponsors of the University of Wolverhampton Racing Team during last weekend’s podium win at the Praga Cup 2022 races.
Following Saturday’s first-place win, Alan visited the Silverstone circuit on Sunday to watch the engineering student’s R1 car cross the finish line with another podium win in third place. He saw the racing car up close with the Allendale Ultrasonics logo featured on either side and met this round’s talented drivers Stefan Oleaney and Shane Kelly.
The student team have worked hard on the car and will now have a month off until the next round of races at Donington Park Circuit in August. We hope to be there again on the trackside supporting the team.
When spray painting Emulsion in our new warehouse, we noticed uneven coats and stripes in the spray pattern, caused by a blockage in the nozzle of the spray gun.
Our Wagner Pro 350m Airless Paint Sprayer was also spitting excess paint when the trigger was released and despite following the manufacturers advice to rotate the spray head to purge and clear the nozzle, we could not solve the issue.
Ultrasonic cleaning is ideal for cleaning small parts with hard-to-reach areas so we decided to see if this method would solve our problem.
Our Allendale Ultrasonics Logo has been photographed on the side of the UWR racing team's car, at the first Praga Cup race of the year.
These in-action pictures were taken by Shine Pix at the Silverstone circuit on the 12th and 13th March, as the student team kicked off the championship with our sponsor logo on the newly designed car.
